help diff. between an jdm vtec tranny and h2.3

is there any differance between a jdm H2.2A and american H2.3 tranny cause im doing a jdm swap and im woundering if i should keep the 2.3 tranny or go aheead and put the jdm tranny i
please let me know thanks

Its a Limited Slip Differential. It mainly just helps with traction.

and if you want to physically look to see if the tranny has lsd look in the hole where the axles go if you can see straight through its got lsd if you see a bar going straight accross in between the 2 axle holes it doesnt have lsd.
