I ment Greddy kits are very restrictive because they are ac compatable, the dps have hard bends in them etc.

The common theory is that b20 motors can't handle boost due to weak sleeves.
The answer to that theory is that its all in the tuning

i would take his advice, he knows what hes talking about.

I dont prefer 18G kits but I have tuned a couple setups with them . They perform ok for the money you can pick them up for now and on mild boost with a stock motor the spool chracteristics suit a street car really well ...

Now on how weak the B20 sleeves are I've run up to 22psi non blockgaurded stock pistons and rods and made over 500whp with race gas . A stock B20/VTEC actually with an OEM ITR head . Car made 340 wheel on 9psi

I've been curious on this subject too...me and my friend both have b20's and were thinking boost...how long do you think a nonvtec stock piston/rods setup would last at say 10psi daily?...Thats saying if stock revlimit is kept and you guys do a nice ass tune on it...would you say that is too much boost or what is your input.

At that setting I have a car I tuned 2 years ago on Crome that still runs fine to this day .

Stock B20 , Dragkit on 10psi in an EG hatch ..

Runs 12.40's on 225 BFG's and has done so without 1 problem

When said "weak sleeves"
is this a comparison to the b18?

The 18g set is perfect for a everyday street car with a/c and p/s. almost very little to no lag time.

also what about the rev. limiter what is the limit on the b20's and how well will the head hold high rpms.
