if you use headstuds you dont need dowel pins.

what?the dowel are needed to make sure you headgasket does not move"he might not have problems BUT PLEASE USE THEM ebay has them for like 12bucks just my way but i would never not use them

i think gearhead performance out in dunedin has them, thats where i got mine and my headstuds

Never run a motor without the dowels.

You could always do it the old fashioned way by having a machine shop drill out the holes to 9/16's and run oem dowel pins.

wtf no dowel pins ,when somethings is there on a motor its there for a reason and gearhead in dunedin has them all day and anyother thing that u need
