lol, random.

I would vote GSR. But I also wouldn't say that it's the better one to go with. That's my personal preference.

I just had a poormans set up in my car with the B16 Si tranny. Don't get me wrong it was nice. It accelerated real nice, handled the power well. The one thing about it for me though is this; I'm not tracking my car. It's my daily. The short gears got old for me after a while. At my last job I would have to drive across the Bayside bridge every day and damn did I wish I had longer gears! I've driven cars with GSR transmissions and they feel pretty similar, just a tad longer. But IMO more practical for a daily. One other thing to look at in your situation is boost. You might want a little longer gear just so you can stay in boost longer.

I guess in the end it comes to personal preference. You won't go wrong either way. Hope that helps.

Also, why are you boosting a poormans? That's more like a high compression N/A set up. Why not a GSR or LS?

Just my personal experience I had a LS tranny on a boosted b16 a very close friend has a boosted 00 SI he never beat me lots of time we would be neck and neck he would shift I would be gone. Both running 11psi. For Gas LS If i had a choice I would go with The GSR though. Strongest diff from what I hear.

Seriously I was joking. If you LS tranny equipped car beat the B16 equipped car on the same power level....the other drive either sucks at life or needs to look over his setup again. If you can get the power to the ground...ie...prettty much under 500whp....shorter gear wins every time. If not, sell your car and ride a skate board.

If the owner of the vehicle can't drive I guess an LS tranny would be the way to go. Me if I were buying a tranny(my car came with a LS tranny) it would be a gsr if it were going to be a DD I would pick the GSR. I dont run around the streets racing 24/7 so a GSR or LS works for me. There is a enough non shifting individuals that will make up for the tranny. Just my "preference" and experience. Not trying to debate it.
