VTEC Help!!!!!

I'm going to check out the check engine light because it is on thanks for the help but what is the CEL light and what does that mean? I guess I need to learn more!

freakasis there is only 1 wire coming from the vtec solinoid, btw whats the dizzy?

dizzy is distributor, and there should be one wire from the solinoid and then 2 more from the switch located directly underneith it....if there is no switch underneith it then you prolly have a JDM solinoid which will require bypassing the switch im talking about.

Thanks for the options you guys gave me I now have vtec and it works good, I guess the last owner had it connected wrong but My friend fixed it all. Thanks again!

no problem. Now that you know how to check the CEL you can fix most of your problems on your own.
