quick question on lug patterns

quick question on lug patterns
I was thinking of buying some rims for my 98 civic hatch, but the rims are 4x114, and i know that the civic is 4x100, but would that size lug pattern still fit on my civic? let me know please, thnks

no it will not. the 4 is for the amout of studs that the lug nuts go onto, the 114 is for the spacing of the studs. do not know the unit on measurement the use. so if your car wheels\rims are 4x100 that is what you need to get unless it is a universal 4 that may accomodate those sizes. fyi 4x114 is accord lug pattern while as you know 4x100 is the civic lug pattern.
