What PN ECU? That would be great if I could "rent" and ECU from you. I am in Port Richey...but work at Tampa airport. It would have to be a P28-A50 or A51 from what I gather.

BTW..I resoldered the main relay and it didnt make a difference. But I ordered a replacement from ebay for like $23. I am getting another ecu thursday as well. I will figure this bitch out. Fucking car runs great otherwise...just does not want to fire when cold.

 

Well..it looks like it was the ECU. I got an ECU from sprjit22 (good seller BTW, met up with me on short notice) Installed the ECU and it cranked over a few times without starting and I was like crap! Then I figured it would be just like an ECU relearn and I better crank some more...it fired right up...ran rough for a few seconds and smoothed out. I just cranked it up this morning as well and it fired right up without issue. So thats two days in a row. We will see. But it seems to be working at this point. However the issue has been intermittant so Ill have to start it a few days in a row to be sure.

However...it appeared that whatever was wrong with it had gotten worse because just before replacing the ecu it acted as though it didnt want to start at all. With the new ECU it defenately is either much improve..or just fixed. So we will see.

Damn troubleshooting chart really only has two or three things that will imply an ECU. One being low voltage output to sensors (less than 5.0v). Other than that you basically have to eliminate other components.

Anyways...thanks for all your help. Good thing you Honda guys have plenty of spare parts laying around
