whats wrong with the motor in it now?iam running a stock d16z6,it runs good, good fuel economy but wouldnt pull a greased kitten off a dock...unless you spend some money on it hondas are not known for blinding acceleration.

engine in it right now has realy no issue with it other than a fuel injector i have neglected to change for bout a week. i just want a faster engine , realy no other main reason. was just wondering how much extra work a B18 would be to put in it and if i would see enough of a diff.

b18 is an easy swap and i can do it or even help you do it...have a few under my belt...also it is probably the easiest motor to learn on as far as mods and learning about hondas and w.e...its also mad easy to troubleshoot and fix if need be...

i would get a b-16. it has v-tec and is not a bad motor to start out with. also later if you want to go ls\vtec you will already have the head, all you will have to do is get a ls bottom end (the block) which would be cheaper than getting a v-tec had if you have ls motor. yeah you may pay less for a ls motor than a b-16 now bu if you eventually going the ls\vtec way tht is how i would go. a ls car will get a b-16 car off the line due to torque bu not by far but when v-tec kicks in it all over for th ls. this goes for th cars being modded equally with some bolt ons.
