ok i replaced the headgasket already and it has arp head studs. the motor setup is a jdmd15b block with d16z6 head shaved 95 thousanths of an inch.<the kid who had it before me did this. now my question is he claim its reading cyl1 (155) cyl2 (195) cyl3 (190) cyl4 (165) it sounds like a wrx would this cause it? also it has hesitation if you just hit the throttle without feathering it. if you feather it up it runs ok you can slam the gas and it will move. why is it sounding like shit? and why does it hesitate? i just wanna get all the bugs worked out before i trust the car. i have a spare d16z6 head i could throw on it so its not so shaved but then i dunno how to convert the dizzy wires to obd0??? any one any help? im in lutz/land o lakes area if ya wanna come give me a hand. im gonna go buy a compression tester right now. thanks give me a call 321-947-9872 sherman

strange compression numbers. I dont think those numbers are your problem though. Sounds more like ignition or fuel delivery. is your CEL(Check Engine Light) on? if it is, solve that first and then move on from there.

haha i forgot to mention there is no o2, the Tps is not plugged in due to it being broken and iat the same thing. also the map sensor is ghetto rigged. im gonna go pick up a new battery in a min too cuz this one is shot pretty much. if anyone can come over and help diagnose the problems that would be great too im gonna go get a battery and check the code and see what i can fix. does anyone have a single wire o2?

really? like i dont even see a plug to rig it up to the tps lol its pretty ghetto rigged. and its only throwing code 10 im guessing it just has a single solid flash. its not a short flash just a code 10 flash which isnt that just the iat? i would think it would throw codes for the o2 and the TPS and map.

THe HF came stock multipoint right? so if i just find any obd0 harness thats multipoint could i just use that harness so i have a fresh start? or does it have to be an 88 hf harness.

ok car is throwing 10-7-and 21 codes. i swapped out the throttlebody and fixed the tps and map sensors. now i need o2 iat and whatever to fix the codes.

p.s. the car is now running fantastic! since i swapped the T/B. so hopefully i can get it on the road in the next day or two
