I just picked up a 92 accord with 122k Auto, in great conditions,
after havin it for less than a week, ive noticed that i have to drop it into 2 in order to get up and go then drop it into D3 and D4 is just not there at all... so 1 and 4 are not there,
i also figured out that the fkin tranny filter is internal so that itself is a pain in the ass.
If u guys can point me in the right direction or give me some tips ill really appriciate it, i hope i dont need a new tranny, it looks like they put 1 in recently i can read the yunkyard writtin on it, it came out of a 93 accord.
If u can also fix it for me for cheap let me know.=, this is critical and i need to get this car on the road for the wifey to take the kid to skool.

if it was me i would just put a new tranny in it from a place like barely used auto parts (they are tested and come with a warranty) and they are not that expensive. as far as putting it in i can help you out there, just lemme know through a PM

is the s ligt blinking on the dash?

 

The only light that lights up on the dash its on the top right corner, Sayin "SRS" comes and goes, sometimes i dont really see it at all...
The other thing ive noticed, i try to put the shifter on the D4 and i dont get it on the shifter itself... I hope i dont sound like im not makin any sence but they obviously dropped that tranny in there half-assed.
Anyways whats the red SRS mean?

sounds like the clutches and pressure plates are going out. you could try a fluid and filter change to buy you some time. for the shifter not lining up maybe something is not adjusted correctly.
