its an automatic

 

automatic trannies have a series of pressure plates and clutches, that is why it was mentioned in plural form. opposed to a manual tranny that just have a clutch and pressure plate.

 

you have to open the tranny to get to the filter. if im not mistaken the srs is safety restrain system, you have an airbag? what color is the fluid? try cleaning out the solenoids on the tranny too!

 

Ya i checked the fluids and it dont look to good to me, its all white and milky? isnt sopposed to be pink? im goin to be flushin it out, i do know for a fact the tranny needs to be out to get to the filter. As far as the shifter not goin into D4 i still have no idea why...
Yes a have an airbag in the steerin wheel.

sounds like water got in the trannt some how. that is no good and depends on how much is in there it may be best just to replace it.

 

Ya dude, i flushed it all out and added new fluids and still nothin....
Im still lookin for a fair priced tranny HELP!!!

 

a Whats good everybody if someone could help ill preciate it but i have a rebulit b18a at 131,000 head and everything but there is a problem i dont have any pull u kno it dosent smoke it looks like it dumps more gas than usally but help please

Got the car runnin great again, new tranny and new computer took care of the problem!
Thanks a lot to all of u that took time to help and point me in the right direction.
