a/c question r12 to r13a
evacuate the r12 and buy yourself a r134 kit at any auto part store roughly 30 bucks i think...fucking auto service places charges $170-$250 just to fill up the freon.ARE YOU FUCKING NUTS?? damn RIP OFFS !! well it comes with 3-r134 freon can and 1 oil can....there should be a tag somewhere under your hood stating how much ounce of freon your system holds..its very simple and easy...theres enuff instruction in there to walk you through it...oh yea make sure you dont GO OVER the maximum limit 21 or 23 ounce in your civic im not sure look for that tag ! buy a guage too for like 15 bucks so u can get the best cooling capability... good luck
Well i do believe that the 1993 civic comes with R-134. I know this because m 1992 Civic CX has this R-134 so the 1994 should have it. You can tell this by the caps over the fittings. They should be 2 different colors (RED AND BLUE) but yes it is alot cheaper for you to convert over. Feel free to PM me with any questions that you might have.
