i just picked up an eg hatch. when i got it,it said there was a half of a tank so im like cool, dident think much of it. but on my way down the cause skyway it started bogging then died instantly i knew it was gas, i checked all of the wires on the back of the cluster everything is fine. could it be just a faulty cluster? please help rep will be givin!

 

could be a bad sending unit...

 

were the guage faces changed out,like white face guages?

if this is the case the person reinstalled the needles wrong.

 

actually they are white, someone told me if you dont reset the needle to E it wount wont probly?

 

reset needle and if that doesnt work then check lines to gas tank and sending unit like legal said

what happen was when they took the needle off they did not mark where they put it and installed them back on wrong so know it show wrong on the guage.

 

i reset the needle and were good thanks guys
