i tried to move my car before the water got any higher at work but is was to late. when i started it, it shut off immediately. what do i need to do to the motor to try and fix this without tearung it apart? can i just flush the motor until the oil is not milky anymore? change the rod bearings? any advice apprciated

first find out if the motor will still spin just use a socket and wrench on the bolt and try to turn the motor CLOCKWISE b4 doing that i would remove the exhust manifold and see if any water comes out,might be lucky and only fried the Ecu

you can do it either the normal is counter but i try it clock wise to not damager anything more altho if you it spins counter then i guess its not lockedup then you will need to do a compression test hope all works out for you

pull they spark plugs and look inside...see if you see a buncha water. then try and turn the engine with the plugs out. if you can turn it you might be fine....keep turning it for a while until all/most of the water is out, then unplug the dizzy and turn it a few times with the starter. put in new plugs and fire it up....if at any point you cant get the motor to turn you prolly bent a rod or somthing... in which case you are person # 135,679,822,121,873,594 to get ass fucked by a cold air intake

so is that what pretty much happens when you suck up water, is bend the rods? the car didnt have any load on it. it fired up then shut right off.

yupp lack of compression you maybe lucky if it still spins strip it down
