ofcourse you need vtec computer and you should change rods, pistons, oil and water pump to a vtec one. you gotta get the head taped for an oil line and some stupid headgasket then wire it for vtec.. not worth it

i would just buy a vtec swap if i were you, its too much money and not worth it unless its b20 or b18 ls vtec.. but even then its alot of cash... turbo!!!!

just my 2cents

What the hell????? You need to wire the car for vtec, new head gaskett, new timing belt & ecu. You dont need to do all that crazy shit your talking about. The head dont need to be tapped thats only for ls/vtec not mini me.

if you dont have the $$ for an adjustable pulley, just get a Y8 Cam gear, which you shold already have if it is a 98 head
