really stupid but happened to me. See if there's a little black or blue plastic/rubber piece on the floorboard. The little stopper looking thing on the clutch pedal may have fallen out. I yanked a starter & almost my alarm when mine fell out

or, check all wires going into the starter. one or two may be loose. check fuses, check relays, then components.

ight i read about the rubber piece cuz same thing happend to me with the break light, im gonna try and jump start the starter to see if it works, if starter works, im gonna check all the grounds and wires, if that looks good im gonna check clutch interlock i heard that if i find it i can just cut the wires and connect them together and bypass it if all that still doesnt work then then i heard it might be the starter relay or ignition relay, and in a worst case scenerio ill just run a switch and then hook it up in the car and have it over with.

ok so i touched the wire from battery to the starter and ta da nothing happens so i tried couple more times and nothing so im pretty sure its my starter, my buddy has a used hes gonna bring it tonight and we will swap them out and see, and when i turn the key i hear a click in the dash so im guessing my starter relay is good right? or what was the click i heard?
p.s. i always thought owning an older car is cheaper than getting a car payment, but lately my car been fucking up every month......

take the starter to autozone to get it tested. they test things for free! you have to learn to rule things out, not replace things without a cause. im not saying that the starter is good, but neither one of us knows that for sure, hence the reason to get it tested. oh yeah, have i mentioned they test things for free?
