Thumbs up

i went out on lunch and messed with it, found the clutch safety button, pressed it, turned the key and bam it started. So it was that lil rubber piece that broke in a half and i found it on the floor, thanx for all the help, we can close this one.

DUDE, its ALWAYS the safety switch! I got my car for 350 with a brand new battery and starter because the guy couldn't get it to turn over lmao. push started it and drove it home, reached up under the dash (I had a feeling it was the switch...my crx did the same thing) and BAM damn car is dragging me along the parking lot. Brains>money.

Oh btw, when you jumped the starter you did put the 12v to that small tab right? If you did it to the large nut then you didn't do anything. That part always has 12v, the small one is like the switch.
