Manual tranny fluid

I dont think I asked this here yet...

What is everyone using in their manual trannys? Acura fluid as recommended? Or some synthetics such as redline royal purple etc...

Pennzoil 10w40 as the manufacturer suggests.

I use Pennzoil 10W-30. I was recomende by several Honda techs not to use syntetics for the transmission. Theysay that the tolance on the transmission parts and preatty close and that the syntetic will not get enough heat to be as thin as the regular oil. In other words stick to regular oil for best lubrications of your trnasmission parts.

Yup Honda Tranny fluid all the way. Everything else Ive tried just doesnt feel right and ends up producing grinds. Stick with Honda Fluid its relatively cheap.
