Default Nos question!

Plan on doing a build in the very very near future.

ls block and head eagle rods and srp pistons (thanks to strictly business, thank you sir!) and somewhat built ls head. I want to run a 75 shot max i decided on the high compression motor usually 50-65 shot tho. Im going to be using a dry kit, but my questions is Would i need injectors to spray 75 shot or would i be fine with a fuel pressure regulator?

i know you have to retard your timing a bit to go that high, but i heard from others that if you retard the timing all motor without spray it wont be as quick as if the timing was at its regular state??

Im not sure on any of the things im asking thats why im asking! rep will be givin for any useful info ofcoarse.

like i told you if your going to be going wit a dry kit you got higher chances of leaning your motor out with out the proper fuel management your safer running a wet kit and anything over 50 shot your timing would need to be retarded a few degree's and yes it would be slow N/A out off spray with retarded timing. also make sure you run colder range spark plugs gapped correctly. you should be good with a fuel pressure regulator and cam gears...

Your welsome sir.Anyway, Depending on who tunes it ( Jon Jon lol) He can set it up like this, 2 tunes 1) Off the bottle and 2) On the bottle, You would be able to switch between the tunes with a toggle switch, Its a new thing on the new chrome, Its what im doing thats what i suggest

You need enough injector for your setup if you have 310's @ 42 psi base fuel pressure your going to run out of injector @ Around 260whp if not before .

So if your building to make power you will need larger injectors .

Most good tuning programs have dual map capability . I would use a better managment than Crome if given the oportunity

i am building to make power cuz my stock ls right now is sllooowwww

i want to use 310's but the only reason i would use injectors so i have enough fuel under spray, off the bottle it wouldnt bogg the motor at all?

Run a wet kit like what was mentioned before...no need for bigger inectors and much safer...you wouldn't have to retard ignition so much either because it will be less proned to detonation.

^ tis true, but a wet kit is more proned to have a nitrous backfire if not used properly. pretty much what everyone is saying is correct in one way or another. goodluck with the build, but your best bet is to talk to whoever is gonna tune the car for you.
