ok my friend wants to do a k24awd swap in his ek hatch... he wants to know around how much would it be... let me knw

Does he just want to drop the car off and come back in a fwe weeks?
Is he sourcing the parts himself?

has anyone even done this before and would it even be possible, these are questions you have to ask first before your friend just wants to drop it off to someone to try to figure it out

 

like i said dont balme me for the question ... he said he asked a couple of ppl and he was told it was duable so i assume he thinks he can ... i dont even knwo but i knw it takes about 10k if not more. if i saw a rwd ek with a corvette motor in it at causeway once then im most likely sure he can do it ...hes doing most of the work but i think hes going to want someone to do the awd conversion 4 him .

 

with money and a good fabricator anything is possible. question is......... IS IT WORTH IT? is this a daily driver. or just a project car and looking for the wow factor. any how it will expensive. the rear will need somekind frame built to hold the rearend. also im pretty sure that the mounts for the trans are gonna be different

 

it will be much more than 10k
