i have an 89 civic h/b DX...

instead of resorting to buying a monster 5 rice tach i want to change out the gauge cluster and switch out to an SI cluster that has the tach built in.

are these gauge clusters interchangable from the DX and SI?

can i just take my DX out and put the SI right in?

 

i dont think they are a straight swap. if you look in your helmes manual they might give you a picture of the wiring for the back of the cluster and that would show you the difference in the 2 and maybe help you cut and soder the new one up. but i am not 100% sure on the swap so forgive me if i am wrong.
