When the head was worked on did Engine Lab replace the valve guides? Alpha said he didn't think so but it would be nice to know for sure.

Maybe the guides were installed too high or non oem seals were used that are a little taller? If you could get ahold of two pro series retainers we could also check the clearance pretty quickly.

they are oem seals and not guides were replaced and i have no access to pro series retainers.. you can ask your boy. mtber

how bad is it hitting? have you guys checked installed height? same valve as last year? is only change the cams? and stupid question.. but are u sure the valve seals are all the way down.
