To my knowledge, he has a pda he checks his email with.
He has been in phone & email contact with Alpha concerning the issue way before this thread was created. He also read a copy of the thread I was going to post before I did.

I say give Calvin one more day to chime in and If he doesnt then Alpha can go on tuning cars with whatever programs he pleases as long as he doesnt lie to his customers. if Calvin is hurting by this that badly something would be done or said by him by now.

 

Very good point to be perfectly honest as long as he is giving the customer what they pay , why would it be a concearn to us if he has an illegal copy of eCtune. I bet nobody has a burnt cd,bootleg movie its the same thing it goes with time. Calvin should have protected his software it is his fault, Its not hard to do.

 

He can continue to tune cars regardless of this thread on what ever software he legally chooses to use.

You are not understanding the issue(s) at hand here.
The primary issue is that Alpha has falsely lead customer's to believe their cars were being tuned on eCtune. Furthermore, Alpha & Brotherz racing did not pay for the licensing fees for the cars they did legitimately tune on eCtune.

How would you feel if you took your car to a shop to be tuned & you were told your car was going to be tuned on the new latest & greatest tuning software & it was actually tuned on an alternate software? How would you feel if you were charged a surcharge for this software when you didn't actually get tuned on it ?

Another issue would be if you had to go someone else to get your car tune and the new shop telling you that you dont have a legit copy or something. Definately if the charges are legit here customers could have issues and ppl should be informed of scams....again if thats truely the case here.

 

well then even then let the people know and let them check it and see if they got ripped. If so let them take action. This make you look kinda like a taddletell. and I understand you are just trying to do the ethical thing and you have but now it is out of your hands and should be left up to the consumer as well as the designer of the program to go forward with the Action required to take care of the problem. If nothing is done then so be it. they obviously dont really care.

Fact: After being confronted about this issue, John aka "Alpha" admittedly informed me that he was tuning cars on Crome yet informing the clients that he was tuning on eCtune.
