Need to rebuild tranny...
My son has a '96 DX Hatch.
Need to get his tranny rebuilt. Who do you guys recommend?
Either that, or I am looking at just buying one?

I had a single cam civic Tranny rebuilt by Neal Sutton. The tranny shifted flawless and didnt make noise at all.

Try BERT-O He is awesome but, for the price of a d series tranny you might be better off finding one BUT, make sure its from a reliable source. Here isa link to his profile

Right now I don't have time to do side work but yes, you can try Neal. He will always use OEM parts to rebuild it. Straight up honest as well, alot people here will vouch him.

put some synchro mesh in it. i dont think its work rebuiding a d-series tranny...specially since its a dx...they are a dime dozen...all over the junk yards, that is IF the $10 synchro mesh doesnt work.
