95 teg, 2 issues...

Default 95 teg, 2 issues...

My cousins 95 LS is under construction an hes hit me up with two questions i cant help him answer...

1st - his fuel line is leaking from the fitting, he said theres no cracks or anything and its torqued to spec.. anyone have any ideas..??



and 2nd - this wire is next to the battery, its not connected to anything and hes not sure where it goes... thanks...

the first question.. put some teflon tape and torque it down tight..?

the second question... that wire goes onto the starter..

No, use the proper copper crush washers from the factory.

exactly, go buy new crush washers. they are cheap insurance.


the wire goes to the fuse box under the hood. its held in with a philips head screw. theirs usualy 2 right next to eachother.


it could be the starter wire, but the terminal looks too small to be a starter wire. but if the starter isnt working, then that could be the problem. but again, it looks like an ignition wire that goes to the fuse box. there is a little hump cutout in the fuse box cover for it to go into it.



:edit: since it looks like your standing on the pass side of the car holding the wire, thats most likely where it goes.
