ok heres the situation as blunt and to the point as i can be.

I have a 97 LS in my eg hatch, that isnt starting. Everything matches, but im not quite sure if the harness is goos for the motor considering it came out of a eg coupe with a b20. i had the b20 with the harness in my car and it has ran before with it, but the point im trying to make is that is that harness going to work on the LS?

Also--

I cant tell if the injectors are spraying...is there anyway i can check?

Last thing--

could any of the problems with my car not starting be because of the ECU? its a p75.


Please, i need all the advice/opinions i can get right now to get this nightmare of mine running.....

As long as it's an EG harness it should be fine Kim


Does the fuel pump prime ? Did you tighten down the harness ground that bolts to the rear of the thermostat housing ? Thats usually the first thing to look for ...

you sure your main relay is not bad, is it even cranking?

 

does it crank?is there spark or fuel?

 

try dizzy cap and rotor...

my LS was out cold cause of bad rotor...

The B20 harness should work fine.

 

Let's start with the obvious.....
what exactly is happening when you turn the key?

Are you getting spark?
Are you getting fuel?
Is the timing set?
Compression in all cylinders?
Has the motor ever turned over in this car or is it a fresh swap/rebuild?

unfortunately i havent had ANY time to check out any of these opinions yet cuz of my shitty ass schedule of being a bartender...grrr...

tuesday is my 1st day off after this long ass weekend, so thats when im going to try and figure out WTF is going on with my car

hopefully by monday afternoon or night i should be picking up a set of fresh injectors and that will be STEP 1. lol
