hey a couple of my friends where talking about the gtech and got me intrested in them i was thinking about picking one up but wanted to get some pros and cons about them like accuracy if its worth the money i have a 97 ls 4dr that i will be building up and i would like to see sum numbers with out having to go to dynos or track at least untill im almost done.let me know some of your experences with them or any other electronics

 

Pretty cheap in my experiece numbers didn't feel all that wrong seemed to be reasonable. I wouldn't buy one new if you could pick one up used might be worth it.

I used one...didnt really care for it. Invest the money elsewhere on your car and then spend the $20 bux for the real deal race at the quarter mile...you wont regret that.

 

cons: rarely correctcosts moneyimperfect measurment system for speed/timepros: if it's free, cool. don't waste your money. nobody believes gtech times as bragging rights, and there's no better baseline than how you can react to the tree at the track.
