Default Cheap cast iron manifolds

whats up with these things? Are they soo crappy that they'll actually crack?

there are sub-$100 cast iron turbo manifolds on ebay right now. I can't figure 'em out. I know the cheap tubular manifolds crack weekly, but these iron ones?

I have yet to see a cheap cast iron turbo manifold fail, such as the mutek.
I do recall seeing a drag turbo manifold that had two hairline cracks.
I am not sure what exact manifolds your referring to, however you do sometimes get what you pay for

I've been around turbo stuff long enough to know that cheap anything tubular or steel is definitely "you get what you pay for".

hell, my entire modding existence has been based on that mantra....which is why these cheap ductile iron manifolds confuse me. Obviously they won't flow the best, but with some good ole fashioned dremel porting, they should be pretty good, and last forever.
