need help swap question

Default need help swap question

look this is a cheesie swap until i get the b series up and running,but i have a 99 ex and blew the motor so i swaped a jdm zc single cam that i had laying around,the only problem that im having is that the rev limit is hitting at 5.2.no cut wires it worked before swap .any thoughts?

did you keep the crank angle sensor from the old motor

no i think this motor doesnt have one and the other motor is gone.if thats the case its my stupidity

engine is a odb0 engine non vtec w/ p2p ecu. the engine doesnt have a crannk angle sensor like the stock y7/y8 does. im going w/ ecu issues. no vtec pressure reading, spoil solenoid or knock sensor. its gonna throw it in limp mode. trust

it has to have the 0bd2 CAS because they dont have it in the distributor like the 95s and under do , it'll be in limp mode all day and you need the y7 or y8 oil pan also so oil pump and pick up will fit ,, just my 2 cents tell me if im wrong if i am i just have a 96 with a z6 in it now ,the only other way wuld be obd2-obd1 conversion harness and ecu and obd1 distributor and that'll fix the problem also
