I need good drag tires/slicks, I know this has been brought up before but i need my own answers, Right now on 7lbs, Im spinning through 3rd on brand new pirellis like there is no tomorrow, I dont care to bring it up to 14 lbs. My question is, What should i go with, 400 hpwr range.

 

Go slicks. Screw radials. Get some 15x10" steelies and put the biggest slick you can fit in your wheel well on those things.

I have a 429whp talon, i ran a set of Kumho Ecsta supras on the front. They did so much better than the pirellis i had...

 

those are neither drag radials nor slicks.......and in terms of grip they're on the crappy side of grippy summer tires. Falken FK451's/452's are far grippier (or were on my 400whp 350z.....12.5 @ 113 on 30psi in the tires)BFgoodrich G-force KDW II's are friggin bad-ass tires. Grippy, good sidewall, good tread life. But those are all street tires.slicks ftw.

 

On the street get some 225 BFG's or Mickeys

for the track you need some slicks . Bias Ply tires fucking blow dick on the street ...

For a 400whp+ car I would get some 24.5x9x13 Slicks
