Rear civic lower Control arm bushing?
Hi all im wanting to put my rear disc conversion on my 97 civic Coupe...
Now i have everything off a 93 civic Si hatch.
so far i have , Compelte rear control arms, brake lines, E brake cables, rotor, calipers.
Now one of the bushings that takes 2 bolts to the bottom of the car is ripped... just like on my coupe.. i think its called the Trailing Arm Mount Bushing .
Now how do i go about fixing that???
lmk

theres a couple different options that i have and i would do. im sure someone will come in here with some different and possibly better ones but...
since they are already off the vehicle you can go get some liquid polyurethane from like home depot and fill the mount up with it. i use this method on all of my motor mounts in all the vehicles i have owned. it works awsome and really stiffens things up.
order a bushing kit from like ebay. (they are the cheapest i think) you can get a complete kit with every bushing in the whole suspension. front and rear, upper and lower for around 140 bucks. also, you can try looking for just the trailing arm bushings somewhere and just order those. if you go this route, they will have to be pressed out to install the new ones.

super easy. just like applying caulk. same concept. just fill that bitch up and pack that shit in their the best you can and then let it sit for 24 hours. good as new.

i have the energy suspension trailing arm bushings in mine for two years now...happy with them but a real fuckin bitch to install.....and the control arms from a 93 will do you no good in your 97....
