That is correct...as I stated above you would have to VACUMN the lines ($20) after you replace the compressor/dryer and check the pressure on the lines. I would just try to save him money because..well 1)its simple just time consumin-2 hours maybe and 2)its a rex...and I have a rex...helping a fellow rex/import enthusiast out and trying to save him some money.
