Question Piston Ring ?

I Just put a b18a1 together with p73 pistons and chromoly rings. I have put about 250 miles on the motor so far and I'm still getting some blue smoke at start up and a lil bit at high rpm. I expected some from the rings seating. My question is should I be worried? I've never used these type of rings before so I'm not sure how long it should take or what? Any help would be awesome. Thankz

who honed the cylinders?
did you check the piston to cylinder wall clearance?

if you have driven 250 miles and are smoking i would be worried. the rings break in and seat a lot quicker than that.

A friend of mine did the honing who works at a machine shop, the clearances and everything were in spec. I didn't use oversized pistons or anything like that. Just a stock set of p73s and the rings with a floating wrist pin set up.

smoke at startup could be valve seals. were they replaced?

valve seals were replaced, I did a complete rebuild I dropped off the head at a machine shop to have it checked, level, pressure, and dipped. It seems like it keeps getting better everytime I drive the car. Still a little uneasy about it though.
