Trans Oil???

Default Trans Oil???

I was told SG 10-30 at local auto parts but they didnt even have it. What goes into my 93 Z6 5 speed??

Use HONDA tranny oil? or use Pensoil syncro mesh... also i believe you can use 5w30motor oil...

i'm using amsoil synchromesh, works well in the b20, havn't driven the h motor yet

I think the factory manual calls for 10w30 motor oil in that one. Synchro-mesh for most b series.

i would still run honda MTF... been runing it in all our race cars, and never seemed to fail... its really thin, and well lubricated, so it doesnt affect your gear travel speed, and it doesnt overheat

NA200WHP was having shifting issues with the factory stuff, the new formulation anyway, to remedy it he went back to the old formula

granted he's making a little more then stock power, but nonetheless

Either run Honda MTF or get some regular 10w30. You cant keep the 10w30 in there for long though, its not reccomended by Honda.

i had some issues with the new honda mtf also. i tried a few different types and i like redline mtl the best.
