When you say third gen crx Im going to assume that you mean a first gen (84-87). I dont remember the specs on those years but I believe the 84-85s were carburated you DO NOT want one of these. The wiring will be incredibly difficult and whoever does the swap will charge you accordingly. From what I understand the swap into the FI models is not much harder than an average 2g crx swap. It would be something different and definitely a sleeper I say go for it if you can get it at the right price. Oh BTW dont pay $800 lowball them. There will no line waiting to jump on that car . Offer them like $450 and see what happens. $800 is alot for a 14+ year old car w/ a blown motor.
