also leaves u behind another K swapped eg. go with the k20a2. the difference in compression is bearly anything 11.5 vs 11:1. And even with cams, valvetrian, intake manifold and header. the k20a2s seem to make ths same or ifnot more than the k20a with the same mods. My k20a2 motor made 250whp stock block NA. Id buy the a2 and take that money that u saved and get a good header (dtr) and kpro.

I would get the R. Like you have said the lsd alone is worth it.
In the future ak24 bottom end would be a nice upgrade. Guys in the Honda Challenge series are making 265whp with the k24 bottom end and the type S head... and that's with stock cams.

if you have the money faded, I would definately get the ARRRRRRRR..... because I've ran my friend Tuan's RSX type S with K20a (I/H/E/Kpro) and spanked me by like 4-5 cars out from a roll..... (taken place in Forza 2) or you can just get an LS1 motor and call it a day..

well if ur not going to put any money into the car..then i guess its obvious the R would be the better setup..faster/lsd and u can say u have an R...since ur not allowed to put money into it..

If thats the case I would go with the k20 R since its more power, LSD....and if your not planning on really modding the motor then I would stick with the R (which you rarely see) since mostly everyone that I've seen with K20's have the k20a2. Just my suggestion g/l with your choice, either way its a K20 .
