how is it done?
hinges or some ancient japanese secret?
seems like it would make working on the integra a little easier

extend the wiper line so that it doesnt pull off when u open the hood that far n stick the hood prop somewhere where it will hold the hood up that high.
its not a mod, just givin urself more room to look/work under that tiny hood.

there's no hood prop being used
that's why i thought maybe it was some trick locking hinges or something

The hood must have been modified also because it will hit the windshield or the frame before it made it that far up. I tried to figure out a way to make my EF do that before and I didn't want to cut on the hood just to make it open further when I can take 4 10mm bolts off and just remove the whole thing when working on it.

i think 90-91 ef can not go up that far cause mine can not due to some type of stop plate or something but i think 88-89 can go that high. also i think the 92 and up can go up that high also..

Old Renegade almost had it.Its real simple you can do it to EFs and DAs their is a stop plate on the top bolt of hinges that bolts to the car all you have to do is remove the top nut and take the stop plate off and toss them no secret ive done it to my hatch and my buddys DA.

My buddys DC2 hood opens to 90 degrees no problem, no mods. The only reason my hood doesnt on my EJ8 is the previous owner put the gay fiberglass cowl hood on it and the cowl hits the windshield.
