I have a hole in my drivers side armrest where I know the power mirror switch is supposed to go. Upon purchasing one I have found that it will fall right thru the hole where it is supposed to be. Am I missing some sort of frame for it or something? The hole is larger than the switch and I know I have the right switch.

 

its possible that the hole has gotten bigger over time but very unlikely... Call up your local honda dealer and ask them if their is a bracket insert for that switch...

 

if you have a 92 or 93 then they are in the drivers side door arm rest and all it does is slides right in the hole in the armrest. if you have a 94 or newer then it goes on the center console behind the shifter. so you might have some parts and years mixed up post up some pics and ill let you know. just pm me. you might have a switch from a 94up car.

My guess is that in fact I was sent the wrong switch because I know my car is a 92. I will get with the My favorite Honda dealer and get the right stuff.

 

Or I may be able to fashion a frame with my unlimited array of tools to get it to work LOL.
