Default aftermarket steering wheel Q's

Allright, so I've been looking into purchasing an aftermarket (Momo/Sparco) suede steering wheel for my honda.

Since i've never done this, other than a hub/adapter and the actual wheel, is there any other element i need to buy?

Are all wheels going to fit or will some not fit? is there a size specific?
For example. i'm looking at a MOMO MOD 07 suede steering wheel (MOMO MOD07 Suede Steering Wheel, Deep dish) or a Sparco 383 Suede Black Steering Wheel (Sparco 383 Suede Black Steering Wheel - SafeRacer... would these fit? what would i need to make 'em fit?

just trying to see what wheels i can put and what parts i need.

thanks for any input.

You will need a MoMo Steering wheel Hub (vehicle specific) and just about any wheel.
Most if not all steering wheels except for Personal/Nardi have the same hole pattern.
You can also get a quick release so the wheel is able to be taken off for easy access to entering and exiting the vehicle, Also good for security purposes.

yes this is a feature which also plays into me wanting an aftermarket wheel... so is the "quick release" brand specific (ie a momo /sparco one) or is it an additional feature/part i need.

so far, in my research, i see that you need a "hub" and the actual wheel and that's it. so where does the quick release option come into play and where do you have a link to give me an example?

thanks for the reply btw!

There are all sorts of versions of quick releases on Ebay for pretty cheap.
I had a NR-G QR along with a Momo Hub and Personal Steering wheel on my '00 Si and loved it.

The Quick Release bolts onto the hub, Then the wheel gets bolted onto the QR, So half of the QR stays on the wheel and the other half stays on the Hub.

Momo wheels do not adapt to Personal/Nardi wheels, so you would need an adaptor, But most QR's are universal to hubs and wheels.

steering wheel quick release, Parts Accessories, eBay Motors items on eBay.com

thx for the info and link. Now u seem to have some experience with non-OEM steering wheel... did u ever try the one's with a "flatter" bottom half versus a "full circle" steering wheel? it seems that it would be kinda nice to have the non-full circle one's as it'd make entering/exiting the car easier... but i don't know about the driving experience... which one ("persoanl steering whee") did u have outkast?

just to clarify... the basic setup = 1. hub (various companies) + 2. 6 bolt steering wheel of your choice. quick releases are just an add-on addition to your setup. let me know if you do decide to get it i know how to wire up the horn buttons (which are a pain in the ass!) and ill swap out those HID bulbs with u too!

if you're doing the quick release for security, why don't you get a lock so the theif can't put their own wheel on it

and i've used that personal wheel before, its really nice
