everytime you change your cams setup you should adjust the valves, also that could be very important if you want to take advance of your new setup, the period of time your valves open and close make a huge different in performance.

yea i'v herd that its good to do every so often, kinda like preventitave mantainance (sp) but im pretty sure you dont have to do it EVERY time you take your cams out. but it couldnt hurt to just check it after words. but IMO you dont have to re-do it if you took your cams out

This is just me but I feel you should always crack the locking nuts and back off the adjusters as far as you can before removing the cams. It relieves tension on the cams as the cam caps are being removed and installed.
Just my $.02

I do the same. It is good practice especially with big cams.
