9 lbs or 12lbs flywheel

Default 9 lbs or 12lbs flywheel

well my t/o bearing is junk so might as well change the clutch and upgrade. question is if for my setup i should run a 9 or 12 lbs flywheel. just a y8 w/ stock internals and bolts on i/h/e w/ a 75 shot any suggestions appreciated

well stock is 14.2 i would go with a 9lb steel

i did you will feel it when your just driving and hit the gas it will feel alot smooth and better respose it is a nice thing to have on a sohc and dohc insted thos heavy ass ones

What clutch are you running that determines how strong you need the flywheel to be.

If ur clutch isnt that much stronger than stock get the lightest flywheel you can find

I've got a 7.5 lbs Fidanza Flywheel on my GSR, and damn do the rpm's fly. Its a noticeable mod imo. One of my favorite mods.
