just curious...is there anybody out there that has taken there backseats out and other things and noticed a difference??? how much weight diff. did u get out of it all... post up how much weight you threw out and if u felt a diff...

 

Yeah, theres no difference.. the shit doesn't knock off .50 of your time at the track! just makes it to where you can hear more road noise. sucks more when your on the interstate. you need that padding! Theres a web site where these guys took apart, even cut, up this white sentra to see how fast it would really go down the track. They even took out a saw-zaw and went away. I did see the difference between the complete car time and when they cut it to just the engine and the guy sitting in the seat! ..

 

its not worth it man. doesn't make enough of a difference and it makes your car look like shit.

 

+1 imo ppl w.o a back seat or a passenger seat n no door panels etc look like bums. if u want a track car then build one. if its a street car keep the interior. ull b glad later on.

 

o n to add to that ull b able to sell the car for more later down the road if u want.

 

^+1 nobody wants to buy a stripped car unless its a strip car and has lots of goodies in it....

 

true, ive always started off with cx hatchs, but when car is turbo the weight doesnt really matter as much as with NA.

 

i like my teg without the back seat... thats all i took out... i can see around be better and i just get a better feel of driving it...

Theres no difference, and you'll end up hating yourself for taking it out in a couple months if you decide to take apart your car!
