Good advice from the previous posters.................

I ran a-X with stock motors. I beat them by making the car stick to the road in the turns.

When you come out of the turn going faster, because the car sticks
better, you get to the next turn sooner than the other guys.

When you get to where you want to make your car stick in the turns,
I have some low-cost solutions that we can talk over...........or catch me at one of the meets. I have plenty of time to talk, but typing takes forever..................

Get back with me. Setting up a car for someone's individual driving style
is a lot of fun.........-Bob

do not dump money into a fully built motor man.. are u kidding? buy some nice coilovers.. ones that wont take a shit on you.. add a nice sway bar, stiffen up the chassis.. some sticky tires, and go do some basic auto-xing.. its not as easy as you're probably imagining it to be. work with a stock motor, so you understand how the powerband is going to help/hurt you, in and out of turns and what not..

i'd say talk alot with senor honda aka bob. the man is a freakin genius when it comes to auto-x and suspension setups. talk to him for a while in person while looking at you current setup and the man will completely break it down for you. btw bob it's john you came by my house to measure up the traction bars for my ef hatchback. and he is right it's not all about how fast you can get up to on one straight away when there are 5-15+ turns you could catch up/pull away through... g/l but i'd say boost it either way just don't get greedy w/ boost psi on a stock bottom end.
