headgasket?
my friends car (93 da ls) has been getting kinda hot. i tried to bleed the air out of the coolant system, but i can't get it all out. with the cap off it gushes water about every 15-20 seconds... co-worker at work said it could be a head gasket. any sugestions??

what do you mean kindda hot?if you mean it just gets alittle warmer then half check your fan temp sensor maybe its just old and not coming on sooner..try wireing the fan up to stay on drive around normal and see if it still gets hot

its brand new cooant. its gets like ¾ then i can turn the heater control to hot and it drops back to ½. the fans are working. it only does it driving down thr road

it gushes out water about every 15 sec. its not like when a thermostat opens and water flows thru normal...

i know what he is saying , but why would there be lots of air in the system? blown headgasket would inject air into the cooling system... right?
