Is your check engine light on ?
If so have the codes read & repaired.
Check for vacuum leaks.
Check to see if your throttle body has a fast idle thermo valve, if it does rebuild it.

i will tell you your problem right now... well i have a 91 accord h22 swap and my car did tha same thing... go to your iac valve and look at tha 2 coolant lines that run to a thermo, iac. take that off and put your fingers over the 2 holes, have some 1 start tha car. if the idle drops back down then theres your prob. jus replace it and set your idle at about 800...hope all goes well...
