Default Turbo Issues

I'm new to Boost. I have an LS/VTEC Set-up and running GSR head with stock bottom end. I burn alot of oil when it idles for a while and when i step on the gas it blows out smoke. It also Smokes when it boost up. Also in 3rd gear after vtec it starts to put and doesn't make any power and Cylinder 4 the spark plug gets caked with oil and it's brown. Possible coolant leak? Can any body give me some hind site on my problem?

Sounds like blown ring lands on cylinder 4. Run a compression check. Also what is your turbo feed and return setup.

I'm running a Home made turbo. 60-1 turbo. I got the turbo feeding from the oil pressure sensor and returning too the oil pan... if that's what your asking. I'm going to compression check it and i'm hoping its not a big issue. Thanks for the help.

What size is your feed line, how long, do you run a restrictor? What size is the return, how straight of a shot is the return line.

For journal bearing turbos a -3 feed line that is approx 30 inches long (or longer) works well without a restrictor. If you run a -4 you will likely blow oil past the turbo seals if you are not running a .06" restrictor. A good oil return line is also key for keeping turbo seals in good shape.
