ok i got a question im build a b16a turbo and i dont wanna spend $500 bucks on cams

i heard a few people saying gsr cams are good to use with a b16 turbo setup


so what my guestion is"can i use gsr cams in my b16a turbo build?"

What are your goals with the b16 ?
What size turbo will you be running ?
What exhaust & intake manifold setups ?

B16 cams will work just fine on most turbo setups, gsr cams would be a little better.

3 in downpipe
t3/t4 turbo
je pistons
skat rods
omni vavle springs
omni retainers
type r tranny with ls 5th gear
type r axels
stage 2 clutch
9.5 lb flywheel



what valves should i use and all the parts i just said im useing i already have...i just need to get cams and valves

will the stock vavles work ok.....or should i get something else?

so the gsr cams will be better then the stock b16 cams?

since u already got the omni valvetrain y not get omni valves too? really any valves will work. the cam profiles on the gsr cams seem to be more favorable to boost. ive seen good numbers with itrs and skunk2 pro 1's as well. IMO get a nice set of stainless valves, n run some gsr cams.

 

Factory valves will work just fine. You can upgrade if you choose to.

I would recommend ITR or GSR cams if your under a budget for applications under 500 whp.

Personally, I would run stock valves, aftermarket valvetrain & itr cams.
