Default Some more questions about MPFI in my rex!!

Ok ive got everything i need to put the MPfi in my 88 Dx Crx.

Right now the car is running Dpfi if you didnt allready know.
And the Throttle body keeps getting stuck and the Tps doesnt work right.

This is the list of parts i have on hand for the conversion

95 D16z6 intake manifold. Complete with all sensors.
89 Crx Si ECu
Crx Hf Dizzy
Crx Hf wire harness.
Crx hf Intake manifold Complete also. With a EGR valve.
New hoses, Gaskets.
A few rolls of wire for the wire running.
Heat shrink.
Crx hf resistor box.
95 Ex wire harness.
set of OBD injectors
set of 95 Civic EX injectors.

now on to my questions.

Witch set of injectors should i use??? OBD or OBD1

How would i go about wiring it all up??

i want to use the D16Z6 mani but not to shure of the spots where all the little hoses go + witch sensors can i use of the manifold.

Also the Dizzy plug is huge compared to the Dpfi plug. how would i go about wiring it up to make it not look like a rats nest in there.

thanks all!!

It doesn't matter really....

But if you keep the pre-OBD injectors, you will need a resistor box. If you install the OBD1 injectors will you not install the resistor box and instead will solder those wires together.

Google search......

Plug for my homie....oldie but a goodie...

HYBRID: 4G DX to ZC wiring conversion

Or....
dx to zc conversion
dpfi to mpfi conversion

So i may just use the OBD1 injectors.. well cause they are newer and probably work better. so just solder all of the ground wires from the injector box together????? cause im also going to be useing the D16z6 wire harness then for the injector plugs to make it look cleaner. are the wire colors different???

ill take some pics soon.

Well those wires coming from the resister box are not grounds, they are power. Learned that the other day from cxcivic. The wire colors for the obd1 are yellow with a black stripe. The colors that go to the ecu brown, red, blue, yellow. The reason for the different plug for the dizzy is the dizzy has extra sensors in it. All will match up except 2 will be open. Those are the ones you add. Think thats right from the things I've read. Check with Neal (cxcivic) to make sure.

if you have a ex wiring harness and obd-1 injectors why are you even messing with that side of the harness everything over there is good... if your doing all this you might as well convert the whole car over to obd-1 it will make it easier for future swaps.... talk to cxcivic aka neal he can hook you up right

well if i converted it to OBD1 then i would have to get a OBD1 Ecu that i dont have....

just trying to get all my facts right before i start to take the car apart.

found a few really good sites for info all saying the same things..

2 wires for crank sensor, 2 wires for the other injectors,

only thing i cant find is where and how if i use the resistor box do the wires come from for that???

but im not going to be useing that box, since im going to be using the OBD1 injectors....... what 4 wires do i put together??? the black with yellow stripe?? its from the EX harness.
