how much hp i can get out of a build d16z6 and how much money would i spend to do it. it worth it or not?

 

if you boost it you can probably do it cheaper than a swap
youll make more power that way its been said they can handle up to 200 whp stock
i've seen quite a few people on the other forum im on do ALOT of work
to their d-series engine to make around 140-150 whp but thats N/A

boost it, tune it, and u might get 200 +. go find some dyno charts n c what ppl are pullin outa stock d sereis motors. if u build n boost u can get 300+ if done right. i say keep the single cam alive!!! its worth it to me at least!

D-series can make BIG power with alot of money. There is a 450 whp d16 civic around here that was built by Mike Yonke.

 

you can make 200 whp on a stock boosted z6. just get a good tune. thats the key to keeping it alive.

 

what can i do with around $2500 to a single cam

 

The D16 won't yield much power N/A , gotta go with the boost.
