go borrow a "ricer tach" tach and hooked it up and see for your self son. you dont know me or what i've built. how are you going to call me a rice boy cause i know how to hook up a tach oh snaps guess if you know how to put parts on your a ricer. ya i'm going to drive to river veiw just to say hey you called me a ricer on the intraweb and i called you dip shit for being a ass. big fucking deal... anyway if you've ever tuned a car i.e. crome hondata NEP-tune or anything it will tell you your rpms when your tuning and you can see for yourself how far off a stock tach is. this is like my 7th honda by the way and it was a dd i'm moving to build my bfg street stock ef for next season...

if you acctually do a lot of racing like nhra or anything like that i can see buying a 5in tach. but to the op id try and track down a si cluster or ex cluster no wiring involved.

+1... Even with a tach, I guarantee he'll still use the rev. limiter all of the time...

lol that was pretty good man.
but just for an example for you with a 92-95 ex coupe fuel cut is at 6900rpm's. tach shows redline 7200rpms and the actual fuel cut on the stock tach is 7300-7400.
